We spent 4 nights in late May and found this hotel to be very clean, modern, and a good value. Free internet access is a plus. The restaurant is excellent. Rooms with a balcony provide a relaxing, peaceful night view of the Bay of Naples & Mt. Vesuvius with the twinkling lights of the towns below. The shuttle from the hotel to town is convenient and we used it each morning. However, in the evening we found return by SITA bus a better fit for our activities. If you purchase a Campania ArteCard it includes a 3 day transportation card that covers the SITA bus. Between the hotel shuttle and SITA, you have an option to get back to the hotel every half hour. The 10 minute ride in/out of Sorrento is worth it for the view, accommodation, food, and service received from Il Nido. We are still having withdrawal symptoms from missing the fresh orange juice machine at breakfast! Thanks for a most enjoyable stay.

We spent five fabuluos days in late May with Dino and his family. The view was to die for but that would mean no more of the fabuluos food. A peaceful family run jewel with a great view of Sorreto and the Bay of Naples and even better food and service. A great smaller hotel for a stay near Sorrento.

We just spent another few days at Il Nido Hotel. This is one of the finest hotels in Italy. We have stayed at this hotel four times and it has improved every time. The management is excellent and very accomodating. We would highly recomment this hotel to anyone traveling in the Sorrento area.

We spent 7 nights at IL Nido. What a lovely 'family' run hotel. A big Thank you to Dino and staff for making our stay very comfortable and relaxing.
As already mentioned the food is amazing and of high standard so there is no need to dine anywhere else. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning which can be enjoyed while having breakfast or dinner.
This 3 star hotel could easily be 5 star. Our room was a good size with the best aircon in all our travels to Italy so far..... It was always clean and tidy with a balcony seaview of Sorrento to die for.
Every morning, we were given a generous breakfast with a wide range of choices such as fresh meats, cheese, toast, scrambled egg, pastries, fruit and yoghurt, freshly squeezed orange juice, tea, coffee etc etc.
We would defintely return and recommend to others. This hotel is truly a 'Gem'.

Just returned after spending a wonderful week with my Girlfriend at Il Nido. The hotel was excellent in every way. spectacular views, excellent service, great food and the staff would bend over backwards to help. The shuttle bus into town was very efficient and the driver was friendly, helpful and would often burst into song!!! If you want a peaceful and relaxing hotel, then this is definitely the place for you. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.

Spent 3 nights here (June 30 - July 3) and LOVED IT. Could not recommend any higher. The view was spectacular. The shuttle pick up from Train was great, and the daily drop offs/pick ups at the meeting place were perfect and on time. Can't speak highly enough about the food in the restaurant either. Delicious. Could have stayed in Sorrento for dinner but chose to return on our last night because it was that good. Great service. Loved having internet available in lobby too. I'd definitely return again and recommend to others. Thank you!
