We spent a wonderful 8 days at Il Nido. The view from the terrace at breakfast and dinner is beautiful. We ate dinner there most nights of our vacation, and our family of four tried many different dishes and each one was wonderful. The family who run the hotel are so welcoming and helpful, thank you Dino for everything you did for us. The shuttle to and from downtown was convenient and the short drive was beautiful. We would highly recommend Il Nido to anyone. We enjoyed being away from the bustle of downtown Sorrento and the fact that there was always a cool breeze on our balcony.
Our family hope to return to this beautiful place in the future.

We spent a fantastic week in August in Il Nido. First of all the location ? 10 min. ride from the center of Sorrento, so very quiet and peaceful. On the other hand the hotel provides spectacular view on Sorrento, Vesuvius and the sea.
Our room no. 106 was very spacious and well equipped. We had a small terrace with two chairs and a table.
Breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant till 9.30 am. The buffet was very generous together with freshly squeezed orange juice (you can prepare it by yourself). In the evening the restaurant turned into a romantic spot serving delicious Italian cuisine, in particular fresh fish.
The hotel provides free parking space and a free shuttle bus to the center of Sorrento and back till 11.30 pm. The service was discrete, professional and very helpful. We had our room made every day.
Baring in mind the price we paid, Il Nido is a real bargain. We can recommend it to every budget-minded tourist. And we hope we come back to Il Nido someday.

Il Nido was the one of the highlights of a 4 week stay in Italy. The room was wonderful at a great price. The staff was exceptional. The shuttle into Sorrento made everything so easy. I really appreciated the promptness. But most of all, I appreciated the view from the terrace both at breakfast and dinner. The food and ambience was terrific. I have no hesitancy in recommending the Il Nido to anyone traveling in this area.

We spent a week in Il Nido in June 2009 and have been checking back regularly to see the webcam. The beautiful view from the restaurant is now on our desktop reminding us of the brilliant holiday we had. The personal service and attention to guests, the hotel, the food, the shuttle service and everything so well thought out - all combined to make it a holiday to remember. We will be back to Il Nido. We stayed at Il Nido this past July for two nights. The hotel was clean, and welcoming, the reception amazing and the food excellent. We missed lunch while driving to the coast but they were nice enough to make the five of us a late lunch even though the restaurant was not open yet.
The breakfast is great with a lot of choices and they even have free internet. We had our six month baby son with us and they could not do enough to make our stay pleasant and wonderful. The free shuttle is great and makes sight seeing a lot easier. We had a wonderful dinner our last night there. We ate at a table on the veranda overlooking the water and a wonderful view of Naples and the mountain. The meal was good and more than reasonable. The owners were great going beyond our expectations to make our stay a wonderful experience. We are going back to Italy in two years and are already planning a three day stay at Il Nido.
