We stayed in Sorrento from 25th-28th August and the mini break was made all the better by our stay at Il Nido. Our family found the hotel spotlessly clean and the quad room comfortable and spacious. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating particularly Dino who even let us practise our italian during mealtimes. There was a wide choice of food at breakfast and during the evening and it was very tasty! We had a fantastic view of the Bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius from our balcony and enjoyed relaxing amongst the olive groves and lemon trees.
We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to others and look forward to returning in the not to distant future.

We had an excellent stay here from the 16th ? 24th September 2009. This family run hotel is well appointed and spotlessly clean. It is peaceful, beautifully situated and good value for money. Our comfortable room on the first floor (it is an ?upside down? hotel ? Reception is at the top!) looked out over the bay of Naples and Vesuvius, as does the Restaurant with its terrace (ideal for dining/breakfasting outside, or simply enjoying a drink). We enjoyed meals in the Restaurant where there was plenty of choice both on the menu and for the buffet breakfast.
The Hotel mini-bus shuttle service to and from Sorrento was excellent and very reliable.
The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Dino (a family member) who runs the front desk. If you fancy walking into Sorrento via the back roads and footpaths, ask Dino!

Hemos estado en Il Nido desde el 8 al 13 de setiembre de 2009 por recomendaci?n de una amiga y podemos asegurar que no se equivoc? en sus elogios.
La ubicaci?n del hotel es inmejorable con una hermosa vista sobre el golfo de N?poles. La habitaci?n amplia y un muy buen ba?o, con una excelente cama. Todos los servicios, incluso el transporte a la ciudad muy eficientes.
El desayuno y la cena excelentes. Y para completar una estad?a perfecta, la cordialidad y eficiencia de todo el personal. Sin duda recomendaremos este hotel a quien quiera viajar a Sorrento.

My wife and I spent 8 days at the Il Nido and our stay there was truly a delight. We miss waking each morning to the scent of lemos and the spectacular view from our balcony terrace of Mt. Vesuvius. Our room was comforatble and clean and the breakfast buffet and dinners were delicious!

The family and staff were so very gracious and accommodating.
Thank you Dino and the rest of the family and staff.

We spent an excellent week at Il Nido (early September), meeting our (very high) expectations in every respect. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and very well equipped (including air conditioning, safe and mini-bar). The view from the balcony (104) over the Bay of Naples was as good as one could find anywhere. Everything was so peaceful - away from the bustle of Sorrento, yet only a short ride from town in the hotel mini-bus, which provided a fantastic service at all times of day. The restaurant food was excellent, and extremely good value - both breakfast and dinner were a delightful experience. Nothing was too much for the staff, particularly Dino, who went out of his way to be helpful. All in all, a holiday to remember, at a very reasonable price. Congratulations to Dino and his family on attaining such levels of excellence!
